I'm using the same Xbox Live account and have the 360 version...and don't see an option for the $5 upgrade.

dunno. that's weird.
There wasn't a "Upgrade" option per say for me. I went to the purchase screen and I guess it automatically detected I had Minecraft 360 achievements, so mine was only $5.
have you tried logging into Minecraft with your 360. Then hopping back over?

I'm on ps4 and I got tons of carrots, I was mining though and fell down a pit into lava and lost all my shite that wasn't in my chest in my house.
