Yes. You have the ability to receive the channel via antenna.

Why would the NFL Sunday Tickets get blocked? They aren't beamed up by local providers, they come from the National level.

And for others in here who have said that people claiming its too expensive are doing it wrong, I agree... I've got 2 HDDVRs, 1 HDBox, HBO, Showtime, and the choice package for $60/mo.

I've been happy with Comcast for our needs, plus I live near Seattle, so it rains A LOT

This is exactly why it is so important to keep net neutrality.

Imagine if your internet provider got in a pissing match with your favorite websites.

Not many people understand this fact and think that the service providers are evil.

Because blackouts are determined with a map.

He is talking about NFL Sunday Ticket, not local NFL broadcast. If the game was in NO, he wouldn't be able to get it via Direct Sunday Ticket, because it would be available via Local Fox and would normally just tune into Channel 8 on Directv... In that instance, he will just need an off air antenna.

The local blackout of Fox will have 0 affect on any other games whether its Saints or anyone else. He would get them all through the 700s just as he would before.

When I had Sunday Ticket in the past, if your game was local you couldn't watch it on the 700s so it could theoretically still be blacked out if you didn't get the local station.

Then he can catch it over the air...

If it's broadcast locally on fox = OTA
If it's not broadcast locally = Sunday Ticket 700s

He's not gonna miss out on anything

Don't watch Fox for much of anything anymore. No big loss. Isn't Fox free anyway?
