Heh. That type is probably way too poor to travel that far. But, I hope it happens.

But we about threw down with the two tigers standing in front of me in 134 the entire first half... And half way into the third quarter until I grabbed both of them... and asked very politely... "TIME TO SIT DOWN... OK????" And that wasn't the worst of it... The guy they were with was at least 6'10" and even when he was sitting down you couldn't see over him...

I disagree with this. I am a firm Believer if you want to sit, Sit, But you cant get pissy with people that want to stand at a football game. It surely gives you no right to touch anyone. Get an usher if you feel that adamant about it. that's how some of these "Tiger on Tiger" crimes get started. This practice has been growing more and more popular over the past 10 or so years. In Tiger stadium especially. Re watch the replay of LSU Fla from 97. No one in that stadium was sitting and it was loud as frick. That was also 3 additions ago. Imagine the sound we would generate now if we had fans with that same passion. I was thrown out at the 07 VT because 2 people 4 rows behind me, Dressed in their pressed khakis, and linen shirts "couldnt see" 4 ROWS UP. Im in agreement that people need to be mindful and respectful of older people or children that may not be able to stand behind them or their language but people have just as much right to stand as you do to sit. Its a football game.

I dont do games anymore. I let my season tickets go a few years ago to someone who wanted to hang out in a social setting rather than the most intimidating place in the world. Still asking why I did this one. Ill tailgate, and hang out but I rather watch it on my TV outside the stadium than to deal with all the garbage. Slowly but surely, people like me are dying out and you can see that in the game day atmosphere inside the stadium. I guess that comes with being a top program. You cant have it all

I bought beer in the second half. NRG usually cuts it off at the end of the third for Texans games.

I was in 130 with my 5 year old.

It's unfortunate, but football games (college and pro) are now a PG-13 event. I took my 7 year old daughter to a Bucs game and fight broke out 2 seats from her. We left before halftime and needless to say she doesn't ever want to go to another football game.

That is why the fight in 129 started to begin with, an older guy grabbed a young guy by his shoulders and tried to push him back in his seat....the young guy handled it well, cause that was worth an arse whooping!! The fight was actually b/t the girlfriends, the younger girl was verbally thrashing the older couple(justified imo) and then the older psycho woman started choking her, the young chick got a good jab in.....the entire section defended the younger kids, the police escorted the older couple out

yeah, That's a bunch of BS. Im the type guy that I would do anything for anyone. If there is someone behind me that couldn't stand or a kid that couldn't see, shite, Take my seat. I have done this in the past may of times In TS when I was on the front row. Not because I felt bad or was told anything, But I wanted the kid to have fun. After 05, The "Down in front started happening even more, so much that I would go all the way to the top of the SEZ (before the expansion) and stand against the fence to avoid all of this head ache. Depending on what type of mood I was in, I might have found a cop and pressed assault charges if someone grabbed me over something that stupid. Seems as though the instigators were handled but still made a scene and probably ruined some peoples experience. I mean at the end of the day, Is it really worth it?

That's the sad thing, the younger couple offered to swap seats....i was very impressed by the composure of the young man! That older couple was completely psychotic

Upper 130 had the couple arrested. Lower 130 had people escorted out later in the game.

Was lower 130 evacuated by the f- bombers?

I was in Section 130 Row K... 11th row.

I saw cops near the top of the section but did not see anyone removed in the rows in front of me.

Abnormal number of Ronnies, frosted tips and New Iberia haircuts.

Quite annoying.

That said, section 137 was awesome. No issues and we bought drinks into the third.

I went with some UGA friends years ago to the Sugar Bowl between Georgia and FSU and had a very similar experience.

An older Georgia fan, late 40s, grabbed my buddy, early twenties, and pushed him down in his seat for standing up too much. My buddy turned around and put the older guy in his place.

We thought it was over. The guy's wife went and got the police. My buddy didn't get in any real trouble, but missed the rest of the game explaining himself.

Not sure why people get so aggressive over this kind of thing, but it isn't an LSU only problem and isn't new.

I think if LSU fans want to emulate the Aggies and stand up the entire game, no one is likely to stop them. However, they should remember they are behaving like Aggies, who go there first with this behavior. The implication that the stadium can't be loud AND intimidating without fans standing up is BS, plain and simple. I suppose these "stand-up" guys aren't aware that Tiger Stadium was quite an intimidating place long before they made it to a game here. And, it was in an era when people didn't tend to be inconsiderate to those sitting behind them.

He started by tickling the dude sitting in front of him underarms then rubbing his hair and face; I'm thinking must know him right. Dude turns around like WTF then pushes himback and thought he would get decked then. He starts rubbing next guy hair and then to me rubbing face and hair is when I was about to do something but pushed him away then he goes to row behind in between two pretty big dudes starts this. One was ready to pound him then he leaves to go further up and sat in aisle for a while until chased away! Strange!

I've got a good friend from here who lives in Milwaukee & he told me after the game that if these drunks try this shite up in Lambeau, they'll get their butts kicked as there are a lot of "lumberjack" type fans up there who fight all the time at Packer games.

they wear cheese on their head...they are not lumberjacks...they work at Lowes and their name is Jack. No one is getting the shite kicked out of them. We will beat them by about 30, they will be breaking in a new coach by then.

That being said, it is easy to see why no one goes to live sporting events except in big metro areas.

This isn't an orchestra concert. Etiquette doesn't solely dictate sitting through a sporting event. That happens to be your preference. Perhaps you should realize that your preference doesn't dictate necessity. Yes, people should be considerate but no one owes you anything.
