I really wish we would run a 3 to 4 WR set every down. Between Diarse, Dural, Dupree, Quin, A. Peterson, etc. there is no way they can cover them all. This would also open up running lanes and leave LF, Magee, or Hilliard in open space.

Looks more like Demetrius Byrd to me, which is just as good for college, and just a different style. Diarse is much more like Randle.

And how many points did the Aggies put up on S. Carolina with a Freshman QB? Very bad example.

Wisconsons CBs were not that good or if Dural and Diarse are just that skilled but combine these two guys with Dupre coming back and then little Wes Welker (Trey Quinn) gets going...we have the makings of a seriously talented receiving core

Receiving corps, btw. Also, Quinn is not "little." He doesnt compare to Welker. They're different styles. Quinn is more like the former Viking, Chris Carter.

I was at the game and watched it on my DVR when I got home. He looks smaller out there then the 6'0" 194lbs he's listed at. Doesn't matter tho. He's going to do great things at LSU!

Been saying since last year that he's a stud.

He was picked by many as a breakout player this year and he certainly got off to that kind of start.

An bonus in this game came after his last catch when he got up and gave Figaro an ear full. Not long after that Hilliard steam rolled him and two plays later left him in the dust.

Yeah, that's the one. I did not see that at the game because I was on the opposite end of the stadium but saw in on the replay yesterday.

@MattMoscona: #LSU WR Travin Dural has 10 career receptions. All ten have gone for either a first down or a touchdown @1045espn

rueben randle is a weird comparison. randle used his big body to make catches

dural is a speed demon.

Go back and look at RR2 highlights and see how many catches he had running the fly. In fact I remember analysis from the 1-9-12 debacle that Bama was so respectful of RR2 that he drew double coverage from the CB and S every play. They were not going to let him get behind them. Dural has that ability and he makes it look easy.

Actually that was his Jr year state results. As a senior he was state champ in the 200m

I went back and looked at LHSAA results, he ran 21.5 as a Junior and 21.1 as a Senior... that's fast!
