Goddamn. USC just can't stop self destructing in the past several years to today. It's unbelievable really

The Shaw situation was embarrassing, but how is this self destructing? it's just a disgruntled player who wasn't going to see the field.

Geez...if this ends up not being true, Anthony Brown is done when it comes to any kind of football in his future.

If that is a word for word transcript of what he said... Wow. Dude should've gone to class to learn the English language. I feel like he's lying.

Good luck at a CC Anthony without a football scholarship to pay for it.

And this dude probably looked at the Josh Shaw shite and said now is the time to strike and throw mud at USC since I quit like two weeks ago. This stuff always seems to come in waves, and not surprised to see something like this now.

Watch Adoree Jackson and JuJu have big games this weekend, and no USC fan will even remebmer this guy's name (if they even knew it before).

No one will care when USC finishes 8-4.

God we need football to start.

Too many player/school gossip threads this past month.

MSB has made the recruiting thread look like the gospel of Luke according to truth.

Like I said in the other thread.

I don't care about any of this TMZ nonsense.

Just what happens on the field...and I don't expect USC to win 9 games this year - so it doesn't matter...and I never liked the Sark hire anyways. But god, the MSB has become titty-girl gossip center. Thank god the football season is starting so we can actually talk about what happens on the field. Bunch of gossip girls on here.

You do realize that USC's players have caused this and not the MSB, right? If they would quit acting like attention seeking idiots, USC probably would never get brought up.

I wouldn't say "USC's players", I'd say one former USC player who quit because he didn't have the chest to let the F-word bounce off of it, and the other who acted like a dumbass and got caught in an ill-advised lie. It has absolutely nothing to do with the culture of the organization, or the rest of the team who are busy preparing "the right way" for the season.

Much ado about nothing, IMHO. If Sarkisian's proven to be a racist, I'll make a public apology on behalf of this young man, but I really and truly doubt the holy living shite out of it.

Are you Obama? Seriously? Whatever, the two players caused this, you happy? I never said it was the "culture of the organization." Though, USC was directly involved as the coach was named in the racism allegation and USC ran out the stupid story about the "hero." Spin it however you want, it looks bad either way for USC.

Obama? Where the frick did that come from?

NO, it doesn't look bad for SC. If you're not a racist, and somebody accuses you of racism, it looks bad for them, not you.

As far as USC's blog reporting Shaw's fabricated story without verifying it first, YES that was stupid and that makes the PR department look bad.

That's really SC's only culpability in either incident, IMHO.

Here's a small update. Looks like Brown did another interview about what happened (in his eyes). LINK
quote:

ATVN reporter McKenna Keil spoke with Brown over the phone about the former player’s interaction with Sarkisian that led to the post.

According to Brown, he was called into Sarkisian’s office on Tuesday following a conversation Brown had with offensive coordinator Clay Helton. Upon arriving at the meeting, Brown said Sarkisian used profanity and called him a coward.

“He was just going off the charts. He called me a coward several times,” said Brown.

Brown also said that Sarkisian mentioned Brown’s family during the meeting, specifically his mother, in a way Brown interpreted as stereotyping his Mississippi roots.

“Bringing my mom into the situation, my mom had nothing to do with the situation between us two,” said Brown.

Over the phone, Brown also mentioned he and Sarkisian had a conversation in the spring that Brown said “didn’t go too good.” However, it was the meeting with his former head coach on Tuesday that put Brown over the edge.

“This time right here just put it overboard,” said Brown. “I was like wow, this is shocking to me. He just belittled me, honestly.”

The USC Athletic Department has a contrasting account of events, telling ATVN that Brown quit the team last Thursday.

Brown said earlier that he did not quit the team.

“[Sarkisian] made the decision,” said Brown. “He told me to get the f*** out of his office after we were done talking. And I just got up and left.”

Brown said that he was respectful during the meeting and addressed Sarkisian as "sir," looked him in the eyes and thanked him on his way out.

He's a dumbass and it's nothing to do with Cali. By the way there's about 40 kids on your roster that are Cali kids. Just sayin.

I don't know about his version of the story, but if the coach took a verbal swipe at his mama, I would have been ok with him punching Sark in the throat.

wtf kind of bulkshit is this article? What EXACTLY does Brown say he said? The author undoubtedly knows but chose not to say. Instead , he talks about Brown's interpretation of the remark. Well let's hear it so we can consider whether Brown's interpretation is reasonable.
