I do believe you are born Gay. I dont believe its a choice made. Heck i have known people since we were kids that they were a little different growing up and assumed that after we went our seperate ways that they must have been gay. Then find out 10 years later they were. I mean it not hard to pick them out as kids. My son is 5 and has old sisters and they dressed him up and all when he was younger. Even at this age now i'll see a girl kid commerical and i'll ask him," You want that?". Hes like No thats for girls. He seems to know the difference already. Not sure exactly as a parent you would know but seems pretty easy to spot the signs.

Telling a person you won't financially support them, at that age, is a little different than saying I disown you. If, God forbid, my children grow up to be drug addicts, I assure you I wouldn't allow them to live in my home or financially support them in any way. I would never say I disown them.

Or the comment about the Dad always taking care of him and being in his corner. That's your fricking job! He is your child. Wether your children grow up to be what you want or agree with is of no consequence. You had a child and it's your job to take care of them. Now you want a fricking medal for taking care of your gay kid. Get the frick out of here with this shite.

I don't understand when people say this. Do you just deny that it exist? Do you think gay people just make it up or something?
That's like me saying I don't believe in water, something we all know is prevalent in the world.

Homosexuality has been prevalent for centuries. What do you think all those Roman and Greek armies did when they were away from home for years on end? Also, a lot of people forget that a young boy in Greece would be handed off to an older male as a way to move him up in society. Not saying that it is acceptable but we have to acknowledge it.

I never said I disagree with him, just pointing out that his statement sounded pretty whiny.

I actually agree with this premise, but it sounded like there was more to the story. I wouldn't be surprised if the kid had been a disrespectful a-hole to his father beforehand.

You can't prove that. Just like others can't prove that homosexuality is a choice.

I mean, I can take the word of 99.99999% of gay people who say they have no choice

did you choose to be straight? if so, when did you choose?

It's not like they just decided one day to love cock even though people would hate them, beat them up, etc.

I didn't choose to be straight, it just happened that way.

And a lot of them, especially in the ignorant South, would love to choose to be straight instead of pretending to be straight in order to prevent the situation in the video.

You can believe all you want, but it can never be proved or disproved if gays have a choice.

It's a reasonable assumption that it isn't a choice.

Ask 100 gay guys if they chose to be gay. I bet all of them say no.

I fully agree it is a reasonable assumption, but it cannot be proven scientifically.

I'm sure there's a way, but it's beyond our understanding/technology. There's a lot about the mind that is unknown

I can't prove scientifically that I love my parents.

So when I say that I love them, I don't need someone like you saying, "yea well you CAN'T PROVE THAT SCIENTIFICALLY!!!!"

likewise, when my best friend who happens to be gay, tells me he's known since he was a child that he was gay and that he never chose it....I believe him
