I've read several of those, it's amazing how far different authors can take the same legend . The best modern interpretation imo is Lawhead's. Especially because he truly dives in. 6 books worth. His books wouldn't work as a Guy Ritchie film, but they are the best version of Arthurian history. Hunnam fits the image of Arthur perfectly. Olsen as Gwenhwyvar I'll have to see, because I cannot picture her as a 15th century Irish princess.

They can say what they want about scheduling conflicts, but IMO there's a reason Jamie Dornan was the one that ended up in that role. It'll probably be the best thing that happened to Hunnam.
