What "kkoolaid" are you drinking?..... 3rd and 8 at the goal line ....

If it's 3rd and 8 from anywhere, I want the ball in Drew Brees' hands anyway

The last prediction I recall from you regarding Ingram was the Dallas game. Nice.

PT was out for the Seattle game. All of our other backs suck at screens compared to PT.

And yes we also sucked at them most of the year because we kept trying to run a lot of them with Sproles.

If the first game wasn't an indicator we became predictable, people should look at the @Carolina game...

We need to re-do our constant changing of personnel into predictable scenarios.

With the exception of the bucs

Nobody ran well on Seattle last year

Ingram was clearly our best back and he looks even better this year

He's being used on passing plays to protect and catch which tells me a lot

occasionally you have some crazy good bold predictions as I recall...he's going to be in my week 1 lineup for sure. I have a feeling

1. he's getting more carries than anyone thinks

2. he's going to be the main back even in passing formations

3. a renewed dedication to the run game implies having a feature back. they got rid of sproles, they almost got rid of PT (for the 2nd time) and payton's personnel and playcalling in preseason supports this. Ingram is so much better right now than any other back and Payton is no dummy...he's going to have the best player out on the field. That's not to say Ingram will be the exclusive back like marshawn lynch, etc. but he's the guy

Under on both, but he is running angry, and I like it. Ingram's going to have a good year this year.

My thing is that we haven't had a RB who has separated himself this much in a long time

PT has never been the best back on our squad to the degree Ingram is right now. Even in 2009, while he was the best all around back, bell was the better inside runner IMO

He won't get anywhere near enough touches to go over these numbers.

He looks great so far, but PT is still our best screen back as pass protector, IMO.

Khiry and Ingram will split touches and end up with 1,000+ yards and around 10 touchdowns combined if all goes well

Ill take over on both but not by much....combined receiving and rushing yards along with touchdowns will put him in that neighborhood.

1050 on yards and 11 on td's....couldnt pass on 20 to 1 odds(odds computed on the under of people saying he wont)

I can see him rushing for 850-900 while receiving at least 100-150

I think even if Payton thinks he is finally a feature back for this team he may try saving him for unleashing till post season play

OP doesn't specify whether or not receiving yards/td count. If so, he's got a chance. If it's just rushing like many here are assuming (as will I), under...easily.

I'll go under and under, but 900 and 8 TDs in our system with 2 strong backups would be totally acceptable.

Not even close to 1000 yards. Not even in the vicinity. More like 600 yards at best.

He's got 37 receptions in his entire career.

Pierre Thomas is the best running back on the Saints roster.

... at catching screen passes, he's one of the best in the NFL.

I'm not sure he's the best overall RB right now tho. Ingram has stepped up his game in running between the tackles and pass protection.
