O-line is everything in college - look at the time Winston had last year...standing back there.
Just goes to show - you don't need a ton of NFL talent in college - just a shite load of great college talent.

You can bring up Ro, but that was more between the ear's issues not on the field issues.
A couple CB's who have been in the league for less than a season or two.
The definition of a bust in eye's of many on this board doesn't make since.
Not every guy is going to be a star like Julio, Lacy, or Dareus. Some guys are just going to be solid contributors like Hightower or Upshaw.
Evaluating which guys are going to translate in the NFL is an absolute crapshoot, hence guys from no name colleges blowing up in the NFL. Some players just peak before others.

I did not bash T. Richardson at all. Lacy is doing just fine and Ingram is looking much better. I think it's a fair question.

Ehhh, we can always see how he finishes this season. At the end of his third year is when Ingram "unbusted". Trent has the physical tools, he's just blind. The guy runs into his own OL on every damn run. That OL does suck, you have to give him that, but still his vision is awful and he accelerates at a poor rate.

USC's best college teams 2002-2005 - had tons of NFL busts.
(Except for Troy Polamalu and Carson Palmer)
USC's great D-team...of 2008 (with great NFL stars, Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews and Rey Maualuga) - but Taylor Mays was a bust. Maybe they should have played for the title with only 1-loss? - But they didn't and that is history.
A lot of teams have won a lot of national titles with a lot of players who were total busts in the NFL.
Nebraska used to be famous for this - not just because they ran a special offense...but their D stars - being busts in the NFL - on those 90's teams.
The college game - and more importantly - the college championship poll vote/system has no correlation to the NFL.
