I do agree that foreign affairs may need to be a POTUS absolute strong point.

You previously said your chips were pushed in with Rand. I personally think rands foreign policy may be his weak point; if it's anything like his fathers foreign policy. If Rand wants to be president then he will need to do better at explaining how he would handle countries that are nuclear powers.

Qadaffi just all of a sudden decided to change his ways? Had nothing to do with Bush?

Putin going full retard again and again has nothing to do with his perception of Obama?

No, it doesn't.

It has to do with #1) what they know is an American public that is growing more isolationist after the clusterfrick that Bush got us into and #2) an altered dynamic due to growing globalism and the 2008 financial meltdown.

Had something to do with some F-111's sent by Reagan.

Altered dynamic due to growing globalism and the 2008 financial breakdown??? Seriously?

It has nothing to do with the President of the United States abruptly ending over 50 years of US domination of world affairs and the subsequent power vacum that retreat has created?

Bush's adventures may have expanded the traditional role of the US as the world leader in a more aggressive manner and I would argue this created major issues. But Obama's retreat is even more dangerous because it has shattered long standing understanding and alliances that are now leading to dangerous outbreaks around the globe. There has actually been a "world order" since WWII and it largely contained the kooks and thugs of the world from creating too much mayhem. Obama has made the calculation that this world order was more dangerous than what he has created. Many would argue that he is being proven both naive and wrongheaded.

you don't know what you're talking about. Obama is more hawkish than most, he wanted to get serious with Syria and the country (and this board) totally flipped out. Now you're saying he's not doing enough? This is just further proof that no matter what Obama does, poli boarders will move the goal posts on him. I'm sure if he came out and said Dominos is the best pizza there would be a thread here within the hour completely infuriated that he didn't pick Pizza Hutt.

tough shite DS... he's the QB of the team. take the good with the bad.

Ukraine...almost an impossible position

Syria...thank God!! we didn't get involved with that abortion

but Iraq and ISIS...on him brother. Pull all your troops out of an unstable nation no matter what you inherited...not a smart move and this is a direct correlation.

There's a reason we're still in S Korea, Germany and Japan...btw which are countries doing hunky dori after WWII

And there's a reason Isis isn't running amok in Afghanistan

Okay I recognize this is another politard we hate Obama circle jerk...let me ruin it for you.

Planned deployment.

We never pull a carrier out of an area while deployed without having it's relief on station already.

You may now return to your previously scheduled thanks obama circle jerk.
