I'm sure there are places you can experience house without all the douchebaggery that goes along with it. I just haven't found them.

probably because you can't afford to go to Europe. Those crops aren't gonna water themselves!

"its no secret. when it comes to “live” performance of EDM… that’s about the most it seems you can do anyway. It’s not about performance art, its not about talent either (really its not) In fact, let me do you and the rest of the EDM world button pushers who frickin hate me for telling you how it is, a favor and let you all know how it is.
I think given about 1 hour of instruction, anyone with minimal knowledge of ableton and music tech in general could DO what im doing at a deadmau5 concert. Just like i think ANY DJ in the WORLD who can match a beat can do what “ANYONE else” (not going to mention any names) is doing on their EDM stages too."

meh, I'm not really an EDM fan, but it's pretty obvious that European electronic music is lightyears ahead of the terrible EDM scene in the states. I wouldn't expect the average bubba gump to know anything about that. Deadmau5 and the rest of American EDM artists are pretty terrible. Not sure what that has to do with Bob Dylan.

You were probably 2 years old when this stuff really started getting popular. Gotta love noobs who never experience anything but think they know everything. It has nothing to do with Bob Dylan, but everything to do about your being a sad existence of what I thought was a troll. I'm really just starting to think you are this sad person you portray online.

Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Talking Heads, Nirvana, Metallica in the 80s, and Silk Hurley. That's just a few I can think of that would be a good general experience of different things. You name it there is a good chance I've seen it. I didn't just read about it online and post a couple youtube videos.

You calling everyone a kid and throwing around your glory days from 30 years ago makes you even more douchey

He asked what experience I had. I wasn't throwing it around. Yea you're right making fun of a dead guy is completely less douchey than calling him a kid. What was I thinking

Yea but look who I say it to. It's not meant to every younger fan out there. They are just as important as the fans who have been around forever. They keep the music alive. It's just jaded noobs and the idiots who think they know everything because they read it online that I talk to like that. It's one thing to have a opinion, it's another to think your opinion is the only thing that is right and everyone else is wrong. Wasn't trying to offend anyone besides the morons I respond to.

Thanks for clearing this up. I like you as a poster and I respect/envy those that were there for the early years of all my favorite bands. I just hate the hipster mentality of "I saw them in their early years therefore I know more."

Don't let Burt get to you. I'm pretty sure he's offended every singe person on this board at some point.
