This can't be serious. I'd kill for four 10s right now. And I barely scrape 40 in 5 at my current job. Easy duty.

Four 10s would be a dream. Too many staff meetings though.

9/80 schedule that I work is a nice compromise. 26 Fridays off a year and not having to be at work at 6 am like the 4/10 guys

Although with the DuPont we were off 7 days in a row every month

How about 50+ Fridays off a year.

Why do all 4/10 guys have to be at work at 0600. Does everyone have to stop working at 1630? Btw, I like getting into work early. Beat traffic, beat gossip, beat drive-by tasking. Nothing but wins.

I have 9 x 80's and it is awesome. Get a lot of shiz done that day that I would otherwise have to so on the weekend. Will sometimes work on that day but can do so st home.

4 10s. 8 hours is a joke.

I'd rather 3 12s and a 4 or something like that.

I work shift work now and the only way I'd want to change that would be for 4 10s

Nah but if you are on 4/10s at my place, you have to be there at 6. 9/80 people can get there as late as 8am.

I've worked days for the last 12 years. Mostly 5-10's. Sometimes 5 8's and a 5 on Sunday.

It's so repetitive. I'm so ready for something new. I know people say shift work isn't for everyone, but shite, at least your schedule changes, etc. etc.

I test for a plant tomorrow morning. Anyone know much about the COBRA test?

I've taken it before and passed, but with my luck lately, I'll blow the shite out of it tomorrow.

Like shift work but 4 10's sounds good. Only thing keeping me on nights is knowing lsunurse will be up at night

I work two 24's a week. 7 am Monday to 7 am Tuesday and 7 am Thursday to 7 am Friday 7 am.

Works great for me. Plenty of tine with kids, and to work out and hunt/fish.

Worked shift for 8 years. 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of night.

Working 4 10s now with every Monday off.

Both have positives and negatives. Worse part about my schedule is 5 holidays fall on Monday. Those weeks I still work 40hrs and everyone not the Friday off shift works 30
