It could have been worse. I was afraid Covington would make the list. And at least they drank a Parish Farmhouse IPA and raved about it.

Well NOLA won't be on there because they are the host brewery and the host brewery is never in the lists.

I've never seen the show, including tonight. Is that a rule? That would be a joke if they were left of for any other reason.

Brew Dogs was better than Best Bars, I thought. The gal in Broussards who had the wine away and said "I'm a new Orleanian" she is a transplanted New Yorker. Not that there is anything wrong with tht.

They never include the host brewery in their list. Before the list, they even said, "apart from NOLA"

ETA - The NOLA brewer was boring as shite

My cousin went to HS with you people. I had my Mr. Piggleswoth HOGS koozie on a beach trip a few weeks ago and it came up.

They're pretty good in my book. Deserving of a visit by a tv show.

Well seeing as how we was basically reading bullet points from a cue card and it was the third time through that spiel, did you really expect anything different? Having been there, and Wise can vouch for this, it felt like pretty shitty TV while it was filming. At least that was my view. Regardless, boring is not a word I'd use for him.

I did learn something interesting I may try, however. Brewing the beer then adding the yeast and the last bit of a bottle of a sour to get some of the sourness of the beer in the brewed beer.
.

I don't have cable so didn't see the show. So they poured a pint of regular beer, then poured the last dregs of a sour into the pint and drank it?

Anytime, brah...it's a pretty entertaining show

I'm surprised none of the well connected beer crew from TD were at the show's beer tasting.

No, they added the dregs from another sour beer when they pitched the yeast.
