Do we need to list all of the backs in the NFL right now under 220 lbs?

Also, go for it. I think you'll be surprised.

oh yeah. Fournette will see LIMITED, VERY LIMITED, playing time.

I like how hard you are committing to this

it's going to be funny when you are completely wrong

or to watch you try to say "10 carries is VERY LIMITED playing time in the first game!"

Leonard Fournette is the Michael Jordan of football, Magee is not. That's why

Jump over to the "What will the headline read on Aug 31" thread and every other post is about Fournette running all over Wisconsin. There are ten threads started a day about Fournette on this board.

Now how many of those were the #1 in the recruit in the nation, compared to the best RB in the NFL, and have a better nickname/gang sign?

This time put some actual effort into it. Make a spreadsheet

Yeah as soon as I posted that I realized I was wrong, and that lots of people assume Fournette will get the most carries from game 1.

Now, I'm not the coach, so of course I don't know for sure. But reading the context clues, Magee is the starter and will get the most carries game 1.

So those people are wrong. I guess that was the OP's point.

I dont get it. I know he is a beast. He has the potential to be an all-time great at LSU. At the same time, it's not as if he's walking into a starting job. Does anyone else think Magee will get more total touches this year than Fournette?

Outside of some media, how many people have said this?

Magee will start, but if Fournette just starts dominating after 5-6 games, Miles will give him the lion share. I mean think about Ware and Ford and Hilliard and Magee getting thrown behind Hill because he was just better. It was Ford's fourth year, Ware's third, and Magee and Hilliard's second. Hill passed them all up midway through the season.

I know you hate to hear it, but by Florida or Ole Miss, I expect Fournette (if he's just dominant) to be starting the rest of the year.

lol no. Ware had no vision and Ford was a one trick pony that went down with a whisper. I'm glad that these guys played here, but by 2012, they were pretty much just role players.

I dont hate to hear it . I cant wait to see Fournette play too and I agree 100% with the point you made about Hill coming in and passing everyone up. Im just calling out the bandwagon yuppies that dont know shite about football and see that LSU pulled in the no.1 back in the nation and are now sporting purple and gold. They are the same people that will be dumbfounded when Fournette doesnt touch the field until the 3rd series of the game, and even though we will be winning, they will be "WTF? Put Fournette in!". Please, let me have my fun.

Then, you know why people think he will get more touches or are you saying Magee will be more of a beast?

Honestly, I think Magee starts against Wisconsin and unless he drops the ball or Fournette blows the doors off the barn, he might have a great year running the ball for us.

Nice straw man. Seems to have gotten the attention you wanted.
