Fournette will not get the majority of carries against Wisconsin. Maybe 10-12. Expect to see a heavy dose of Magee in the 1st half.

I expect he will be getting the majority by mid season though.

I see LF coming in, getting 2-3 touches, then going to the sidelines and getting coached up on what he can improve. Then he'll go back in and repeat the process, for about 10 total touches in a game.

He'll do this until he is deemed fully ready by the coaches. Now, he very well could be fully ready in game 1, just remains to be seen.

But, I think our proven runners in Magee and Hilliard see the bulk of the carries - and they should.

The #1 recruit in the land is expected to produce right away. He should be a solid contributor this season and develop as he gains more collegiate experience.

Its simple really his chances of taking one to da house at anytime is much greater than the rest of the backs. Not even close.

Does anyone else think Magee will get more total touches this year than Fournette?

I don't think that. I think Magee gets more touches in the first half of the season, by the end of the year they'll be about even on a game-to-game basis with LF probably having a slight edge. Overall I expect Magee to have more carries on the year, barring injury of course.

Magee is LF's biggest fan, that will help the transition go over that much more smoothly.

I haven't read that much here. Most posters I've seen have said Magee with carry the load but Buga will still get a lot of carries.

basically we'll throw 10 passes a game.

In the first couple of games? Yeah...maybe.

On the season? Not likely, no.

Why? For the same reason Justin Vincent ended up getting more carries than established RB's Shy Carey and Joe Addai in 2003. It's very likely he's better...and much more so. If that's true, then he will get more carries because, like Vincent taking them away from Addai and Carey once they were healthy, his carries will be more beneficial. That's not a slight against Magee, just an admission as to how good Fournette MIGHT turn out to be.

All that being said, I'm eager to see Magee and hope he has an outstanding year!

Yea that means absolutely jack shite. Throw it against the wall and see if it sticks I suppose. Do we need to list all of the backs in the NFL right now under 220 lbs?

I think Magee even admitted as much. Said that LF has all size speed and vision, while he only has 2 at best. Magee knows what a special player LF and won't hold him back. Neither of these guys has an ego.
