I'll agree. I think tony brown was next. I'll never understand how these so called kids that love LSU...could go to Bama.

Mathieu had ball skills like I have never seen. But, their practice film is similar as far as the quickness and cutting ability and way they fly to the ball. What he does with his hands when he gets there, I don't know. That is what made Mathieu so special - he would break on the ball for an interception or punch the ball out at the moment that he arrived at the ball carrier in the perfect way. It was unreal. I have no idea if Adams can do that, but the "getting there" part is very similar to Mathieu.

You are exactly right. I remember making a comparison comment about Adams and Mathieu when I saw his first drills this Fall. Watching Mathieu the 2012 preseason, he just looked better than anybody. He was so fluid and smooth and quick in those drills, you just knew he was going to dominate in 2012. I had that same look when I saw Adams do it a couple weeks ago. We may just see the return of the badger, earlier than ever expected, if even expected ever again.

Yeah, Mathieu's 2012 drills in fall camp made it look like everyone else was standing still. He was on a whole different level from the rest of the defense - and that was an incredibly talented defense.

Jamal is the biggest surprise of this class and hats off to Ed Paris for his help in his recruitment. Many 5 stars are over-hyped. This kid is the real deal. If, and that's a big If, Trovonte Valentine is as good as his film. The Gerald Willis loss won't be a loss at all. Some of these late recruits are results of our late season fail in recruiting. Tony Brown was the biggest surprise but his family needed the money that Alabama shelled out. The 2 best wide receivers in the state are in Baton Rouge. Speedy will take a hasty retreat from A&M.

Again...someone needs to explain to me how a top 2 and five star safety is either a "steal" or "sleeper" of the class. It's almost inversion of fournette. Makes zero sense..he should have no where to go but status quo or down.

He may have all the physical tools that TM7 had, maybe even more tools, but TM7 could get the ball in a way where im still not convinced he wasnt a wizard.
