The President is supposed to be the Commander in Chief. This means he has access to a lot a facts and intelligence that the public does not, and therefore is best equipped to make decisions as to when military actions are warranted. Not a fricking poll.

Well a 3rd Iraq war is not fricking warranted. The 2nd wasn't either, but that's water under the bridge

In all honesty, what could Obama realistically do? I don't think anyone here wants more American troops sent back to Iraq. What is he to do?

If he hadn't curled into a fetal ball from the outset, things might have been different. Events don't happen in a vacuum.

Unless Barry tells me otherwise, Iraq is a stable and sovereign country.

As much as I dislike Barack Obama, I find it disgusting that some are so blinded by their hatred of him that they are willing to place the blame on him for this. As if he were responsible for sawing off another human being's head.

Some of you seem like genuinely wretched people.

Exactly - Obama has no options on any of the foreign conflicts. None. I don't get the criticism.

Do you mean how he stayed out of Egypt? No wait, he helped overthrow that government and helped out the Muslim brotherhood.

And intelligent, moral people will know that the barbarians are to blame, not Obama.
No, Obama is not to blame, but he is like Neville Chamberlain. The wrong person to lead the effort to hold those who are to blame accountable. Many intelligent and moral people have been slow to realize that, and the amoral have realized it and taken advantage of it.
