He didn't. The police said there was no way to tell at the time of the accident.

he leaves the scene, grabs his 357, returns and blows the guys brains out.

seems appropriate.

I'd call him guilty. I don't blame him on a personal level, but he is a murderer.

true. a bullet to the head or lethal injection is way more humane than running over 2 kids and letting them wriggle around and bleed to death.
That still doesn't make it execution. You're not taking intent into account at all.

Of course that's the case, but it won't stop the billy badasses on here from supporting a murderer.

I love how everyone on here assumes the guy was passed out drunk. If he had 2 beers and was .09, yes he was over the limit and shouldn't be driving but how would the father know this? I HOPE the kid was standing there drinking a 1/5 so there is something to justify this. Because what if it was one of us who was sober, looked down and hit two kids? Do you deserve to have your brains plastered on the street? Isn't that what the legal system, as much as it sucks, is for? At what point is retaliation and vengeance not ok? Slippery slope.

eta this guy will get off. no WAY they can find 12 jurors without kids and speaking as a dad..i would find him not guilty and would not waver in my opinion.

You just keep getting dumber and dumber with each post. It's interesting to see someone go full retard, you would think after a couple of posts a reasonable person would realize it and stop.

The same guys that love to go Merica all over everyone's asses are always the same guys that don't support a fair trial by jury when it suits them. Why don't they just move to Russia already?

The article reveals a lot of reasonable doubt. Sorry if this was discussed, but those saying "guilty" are just as emotional as those saying "let him go."

That was my takeaway.

No weapon, no residue, no eyewitnesses. (to the murder)

While he certainly had motive, there seems to be room for reasonable doubt.
