I don't really believe that for starters.

You should. It was pretty common knowledge that his offer was pulled

wait i say i dont believe we never pursued him and you tell me i should and your evidence is we pulled his scholly? So we did at one point pursue him??? So you are saying im right?

"violation of team rules" is not grades

That's almost always failed drug tests. Pretty unlikely he would be suspended over summer grades.

We pursued him early on in his HS recruitment, then didn't. He didn't hold an offer.. Similar to T.D. Moton. Which fits what Jake said "We didn't pursue then, why pursue now".

I think the answer is clearly yes. But it would be unlikely due to the reason duckie gave.

Three former Alabama players who were planning to transfer recently told The Wall Street Journal that they were cut for UVTRs that they were never informed of, leading them to speculate that coach Nick Saban wanted to protect the image of the program for recruiting purposes. An Alabama spokeswoman replied that it was hard for the school to "deal with inquiries that are so blatantly pointed toward discrediting one individual, particularly when the university is prohibited from addressing specific cases due to student privacy laws."

LSU didn't move on recruiting Williams because, well, he's not of high character. That's the PC version, I'm sure

Thn he gets in trouble at BAMA which justifies LSUs decision to let him walk....

Why would they even give them a second thought once he's out at BAMA.

Because he's good? I really don't care about falling a drug test. Maybe he comes here and makes grades since he's back home. It's certainly a risk no doubt though.

I remember a time when the majority of this board wanted him bad. Then the coaching staff cooled on him

dont think he can stop him. the question is should lsu pursue williams. not should williams choose lsu based on having to sit out an additional year.

I believe a defensive back from Mobile transferred from LSU to BAMA a few years ago. I believe his name was Chievous or something similar.

So if LSU coaches believe Wlliams would be an asset to the program they will pursue him

From what the pay sites insinuated.....he just isn't that good of a kid. I understand that everyone recruits kids that get in trouble (Hill, Mills most recently) but IMO, if a school backs off even before he graduates high school, then there are red flags. Then gets booted from elsewhere justifies your decision. That's just me.

He'll end up at ULL or USA...some sun belt school

I said the rumor is he's transferring. Didn't say he was being booted.
