I don't expect anyone to actually do this, but. . .

If anyone wants to see a prime example of selective reporting of facts, read NYT's story on Perry's indictment. Compare it to WaPo's. I've been on the verge of canceling my NYT subscription for a couple months, and last night I finally went through with it. They report facts (obviously), but it's become painfully obvious to me over the past year that even facts can be selectively in- or excluded to match a non-objective version of events.

The level of hypocrisy you display here on a daily basis is so damn fascinating to me. I don't pay enough attention to be able to recall someone's previous comments and observe contradictions, but you are too blatant to miss. It's a fun game deciding when you are posting your sincere beliefs and when your just flaming.

Considering the merits of this case, I believe you are hard core trolling here, Fwiw.

Again, a Travis County grand jury indicted Tom Delay, who ultimately was completely exonerated
Kay Bailey-Hutchenson as well. It's like a badge of honor for TX Republicans.

What's truly entertaining is those that defend Obama's executive orders are now decrying Perry's executive actions.

Just a heads-up for the Board: Perry will be on Fox News Sunday w Chris Wallace Sunday morn. Book it...Wallace WILL nail Perry and directly ask him about that threat/veto.

And that is why Fox...FARRRRR surpasses the MSM as presenting "fair and balanced" reportage.

Watch and see. It happens. Perry had better be ready. He will.

They probably already sent Perry's handlers all the questions.

Well I don't know about COMPLETELY irrelevant - but I s'pose they are not nearly as relevant as Mrs. Romney's horse.

No probably about it. It's standard procedure for "interviews". Very few desirable guests will ever allow an interview without prearranged questions and clear subject matter boundaries.

They are entirely relevant. If Rosie doesn't get arrested for DWI, none of this happens. If Rosie doesn't get arrested for DWI, there are NO questions about her ability to execute her job. Would you continue to fund an incompetent political watchdog unit? Maybe it's just me... but... I can see the case for not giving an incompetent politician continued funding.

Well neither HW, or W is known for appointing rigid ideologues.

HW gave us David Souter, and W wanted to give us Harriet Myers.

The Left has always had litmus tests for its appointees, the Right not so much.

Well he is a liberal in many respects, but there has been tension for years between those loyal to Bush and to Perry.

I'd never want to be a Governor.

They get locked up all of the time.

We have a former governor in the Fed right now.

Yeah. Right. For instance if I even mention homeless people I'm a hypocrite for not turning my house into a homeless shelter. If I mention Rick Perry - that means I support drunk driving. I get it.

Even Alan Dershowitz and David Axelrod are calling B.S. on this indictment.

I keep hearing that the governor's veto power is absolute in Texas.

Does that mean he could - if he wanted to - sell his veto power to the highest bidder in an online auction?

Why not? Its an absolute power. He can raise a lot of money for his Presidential run that way.

Obama would be the more likely to go for this than Perry.

Can the governor of Texas legally sell his veto power to the highest bidder?
