Seconded. Another favorite lunch spot. They can get backed up pretty easily with the lunch rush but usually bring everyone a few boiled jumbo shrimp to tide them over until their order is ready. Great shrimp too.

Usually if you go around lunch time (11-1) or late afternoon (around 4:30) they have fried some recently. I think the deli closes around 6, maybe a little later.
I shop at both Matherne's stores, and although both are good, I have to give the edge to Kenilworth over Bluebonnet.
