Yeah. I went out and tried to find the averages via Google. Couldn't find much on movie in general or summer blockbuster movies. But did find this article that puts 56% at exactly average for Marvel stand alone movies outside of I think on of the I.M. movies and one of the Thor movies: LINK

GotG is one of the best movies of the year. TMNT is just a fun popcorn flick. I liked both. I paid to see both. I paid to see GotG last weekend and paid to see TMNT this weekend. It's just a new movie that had a lot of anticipation. I was sure TMNT would make more money this weekend.

My parents are taking my daughter this weekend. I might drag the wife down to the theatre and just see these back to back while I have the chance.
