I wonder if they start recruiting Devin White as a LB.

Les must do a good job of selling the RB's that they will not be used up in college and that it is a good thing to be one in a stable of great RB's. They get to show their skills without taking the abuse that would at another schools as the featured back. Allowing them to be more in the tank for the pros?

Little Nicky does an even better job IMO. Bama has about 9 5* running backs in the stable.

We are catching up however :)

Other than you know who, we will be mediocre at RB this season compared to next year

This is a pretty stupid statement. Give the kids that are actually on the team some credit.

Not saying this is the same situation but Brandon Taylor moved to safety after playing RB and that turned out pretty well.

I think he stays at fullback but who knows.

This is nothing new, we've had sick RB depth for a long time now.

I totally disagree. I really don't know how any LSU fan could say this. Bama's stables have supposedly been deeper on paper but they have never rotated four guys every game like we have.

Truth hurts.

But the facts remain that Bama has out-recruited us at RB for the past five years until this past year.

How come every time someone posts "truth hurts" it's followed by their shitty opinion?

No.... Everyone is about to see a real 5 star stud this year. Hill should of been a 5 star. The TBs we have coming in should all be 5 star material, Guice, Ducre, LF, even Williams, dudes gonna be a load!

Try to stay on the same page bud. We are talking about how each program uses their RBs not who has recruited better. LSU rotates more backs per game... period.

Since you are soooo hung up on recruiting though, I see LSU recruiting at the RB position just as well as Bama has. Indeed, the Tigers have done better than the gumps when you factor their FBs in which is justified. You can go ahead and gush over their star ratings but the fact is that LSU is producing RBs that are coveted just as highly as Bama's.

Without getting long winded about this I will just wrap things up by saying that the only RB recruit that Nick has ever beaten Les out for was Trent Richardson. Besides him, Les has won every single head to head battle for RBs that they have had to date.

I suggest that you reevaluate your loyalties to LSU because kissing Sabin's arse and proclaiming baseless victories sounds exactly like the favorite pastime of the average Gump to me.

We may not have had 3 at once, but we have had a few.

RBs
Keiland Williams 5 star
Michael Ford 5 star
Spencer Ware 5 star
Leonard Fournette 5 star

On the other hand, we had at least three 5 stars play WR between 2009 and 2011.

WRs
Terrance Toliver 5 star
Reuben Randle 5 star
Russell Shepard 5 star (Dual QB switched to RB/WR)
Jarvis Landry 5 star
Malachi Dupre 5 star
