He had his ankle taped up. He participated in some drills, but Foster filled in for him during the team periods. I'm thinking he's got an ankle sprain.

Is it just me or does the D seem to be playing a little more angry? It reminds me of the '09 training camp when Greg Williams came in and changed the entire attitude. I remember a training camp drill where the D-line stuffed the offense on 4 consecutive runs from the 1. I'm getting excited.

No one reported him limping or appearing to be injured, so I don't know.

I thought that one of your "Update" post on Wednesday stated that Champ started limping a bit after a play...could be wrong.

Doubt he would have even dressed out if it was.

@adono I don't remember that, but I'll go check.

Yeah, I'm not seeing anything.

I think if that was the case, reporters would have connected the two.

Even if he was injured, he would be out on the sideline right?

You would think.

I'm starting to wonder if his heart is in it, if he's really to go through the rigors of another NFL season. It happens.

One way or the other, I think Ryan and Payton have seen enough to make that call. Given that we've heard good things about him, and he's already starting to sit back in practice, I'd say he's good to go

This makes a lot of sense to me re: Champ, but maybe it's just wishful thinking?

Might be Hospice.

Even vets that sit out or don't take as many snaps are still on the sideline. Look at Grubbs
