I love Bush circle jerks like this...Let me add to it.

Bush led the nation into war with Iraq on incorrect intelligence reports. Still search for those WMDs.
You have a great memory - albeit selective.

The rest of your itemized list doesn't even make a pimple on Bush's butt when compared to the long list of embarrassments the current admin bestows on the country on a seemingly regular basis.

Put Obama out there without his teleprompter, and uh uh....

Do people really believe President Obama is the first President to ever use a teleprompter?

Yup, it fascinates me how much people forget in 10 years....just how fricked things were before Obama took office. And the fact that Obama would have never won if Bush had had any measure of success during his 8 years. Then again these are the same people who voted for Bush despite the fact that he and his administration lied about Iraq.

If so (and it isn't) Obama will somewhere behind him, Hoss.

the denial is strong here. Bush was very unpopular across the board, not just with liberals.

Nah, it was better the other way. More accurately, it should say "intentionally manipulated the evidence presented in order to guide the country toward a desired action"

yeah, gwb is probably the worst in the modern era but he doesn't crack top 5 in history. the presidents prior to civil war (and after andrew johnson anyone?) were just terrible. pierce, taylor, fillmore, buchannan. Yikes.

Not to mention Harding, likely the most corrupt president ever.

We all know that the other presidents used a teleprompter, but they could also give a coherent "off the cuff" speech if needed, for example GW Bush standing on top of the pile of rubble with a megaphone on 9/11. If Obama goes off the teleprompter he stumbles, stutters, and makes less sense than Biden.

If that's what you are looking for then you will find it.

Same with any other President.

I really was opinionless on bush until I read Decision Points. That completely changed my mind and put me squarely in his corner.

Strong president.
Great man.
