Why is it a pitt at first but then a pit later?

Seriously? I didn't know SO's existed when you are 5. I am not a pit bull fan, but you are ridiculous

Doesn't = this

he pit stopped short of us and was jumping trying to get him

So he was doing what dogs do?

Wow

If the pit had attacked us or the dog (or both of us), how badly could we have sued this pittbull-owning TPOS?

You sound like a great neighbor

Who the hell walks a Yorkie 6 miles round trip let alone any dog 6 miles on a random walk at a friend's house?

Sounds like a vicious dog. Best to notify animal control in the area. they will require that the owner keep the dog locked up.

"Almost ate" isn't close enough when it comes to a Yorkie.

I had a Yorkie and understand how vulnerable they can be but you don't have to be an arse about what COULD of happened.

Your adrenaline has you fighting mad

Breathe

then STFU

By all means go to the Doc - that scratch can lead to cellulitis-

As for the dog I would have a chat with the owner.

Had a similar situation in my neighborhood. Chatted with the owner who is built like a hummer. Informed him that I always have my survival knife when we walk- Told him I sure was glad the dog didn't get any closer I would have hated to have slit his throat to defend the wife. He got the message
Dog was locked up.

I am a dog lover but the second a dog threatens a family member - I go into Semper Fi mode.
