Also it proves my theory that people like watching and listening to shows that make them angry for some reason... liberals watch Fox News and Conservatives watch MSNBC.
Not here. I can't stand watching either network because of that very reason: I don't want to get angry. I also change the station if Obama comes on. I don't want to see him or hear his voice.

So, let me get this straight, regardless as to my personal views, as a federal employee I am able to professionaly/objectively perform my duties, is that the argument?

“I have not done anything wrong,” she said. “I have not broken any laws. I have not violated any IRS rules or regulations. And I have not provided false information to this or any other congressional committee.”
What is IRS policy regarding use of government email account for personal purposes? If sending messages such as those detailed in the OP are violations of IRS policies, then her testimony was false. If so, then contempt of Congress is not the only crime for which she could be prosecuted. She would also have to worry about possible perjury charges.

Tell me again why I'm *not* to believe she conducted her job in politically motivated fashion?

I'd be happier if they were all taken out and shot. Harsh? Perhaps.

Don't forget Homeland Security, at least with regards to the molestors at the airports.

IV. GENERAL POLICY Federal employees are permitted limited use of government office equipment for personal needs if the use does not interfere with official business and involves minimal additional expense to the Government. This limited personal use of government office equipment should take place during the employee’s non-work time. This privilege to use Government office equipment for non- government purposes may be revoked or limited at any time by appropriate Federal agency or department officials. Agency officials may apply this policy to contractor personnel, interns, and other non-government employees through incorporation by reference in contracts or memorandums of agreement as conditions for using Government office equipment and space. This policy in no way limits agency personnel in the use of Government office equipment including information technology for official activities

You can bet that Camp, Issa, Gowdy, et al have staff members pouring over every one of the thousands of Lerner emails delivered to the committee... and THIS is the most incriminating stuff they can come up with?
Posted on 7/30/14 at 6:01 pm to jamboybarry
I agree with everything she said.
I'd still frown upon employees bringing this political shite into work, much less letting it influence who to target.
I'm sure she broke a civil service rule, with that email exchange.

I have to agree with rex here. If that is the worst she said in emails, the true moderates on this board speak worse.
There is a crazy wing of the Gop. And yes, some of those crazies are aholes. There is a crazy wing to the dems as well. And yes, some of those crazies are aholes as well.
I see it mentioned on this board all the time.
Look, if Lerner did something wrong, I doubt we will ever know it. Did all the emails get found or did only some of them get found?

Administration. During the interview, Mr. Kane testified that senior leadership in the IRS became aware of problems with Lois Lerner’s e-mails in early February 2014. According to Mr. Kane, on February 2, 2014, Catherine Duval, Counselor to the Commissioner, noticed a discrepancy in the number of e-mails gathered from Ms. Lerner’s account. The IRS had gathered 16,000 e-mails from the period after April 2011 and ‘less than 100’ from the period before April 2011.

What is wrong is that she was using her official IRS email to discuss things other than work.

This isn't a smoking gun tying Lerner to targeting
Those e-mails have been deleted. But they are smart when it comes to being crooked. They had to have something in these e-mails to show anything but dislike for the GOP and not any targetting. Then they can say it was just her opinion and not a prelude to targetting.

Oh wait, the IRS destroyed the hard drive if you remember correctly. Rex, we all know she is a partisan and when the other emails come to light (which they will) you are going to continue supporting these people. I guess maybe I've seen the worst of the IRS as they attacked and tortured my wife over taxes she never paid because of a US treaty with the Philipines. I spent 4k fighting this thing before the IRS blinked a month before we went to tax court.
Anyways, there is no accountability by the IRS and ironically they wanted to be EXEMPT from ObamaCare. Just try wrapping your mind around that for a few minutes.
