Are the Muslims going to be told to eat BBQ on the 4th of July ?

I wish Islamic Jihadists would refrain from cutting the heads off of non-Muslims.

I'm deployed right now. We are asked to be considerate of there holiday when they are around simply to not provoke them getting there haji on. It's for the safety of all US personnel and coalition forces here in the Middle East.

US troops told not to eat, drink in front of Muslims during Ramadan
I understand requesting consideration, but this is retarded for a stateside directive. It's just the type of thing I'd enjoy flouting.

Meanwhile, Navy officials have ordered personnel serving in Bahrain to dress more conservatively off base, according to a report in Stars and Stripes. Men were ordered to wear long-sleeved shirts and women were told to wear blouses that cover their elbows and skirts or pants that cover the knees.
Entirely different matter. I loathed the Middle East and wasn't too fond of Bahrainis (though some were cool), but we were in their country. I wore long sleeves and pants through 140 degree heat for Ramadan in both 2012 and 2013. No eating or drinking outside, no water in the car, etc. Thing of it is, they don't really sacrifice all that much during Ramadan. They work shortened hours (about 4 per day) and spend of the rest of the daylight hours asleep. Then they party all night.
Last year, a good civilian buddy of mine who was a GG-14 with a huge arse compound hosted a once a week party throughout the entire month(his family went home for vacation). We called it Ramadale's (a play on his name), grilled out, and got smashed. Theme was Beer, brauts, and bikinis. Good times.
