If you can't taste the difference in vodka's, there's something wrong with you.

The point of vodka is for there to be no taste other than the alcohol. So if you cant tell the difference between vodkas, there is something wrong with the vodka.

Skyy is cheap these days and would be fine for vodka tonics.

I know nothing about vodkas. I typically buy tito's before tailgates, etc.

My wife recently got some ciroc vodka and really liked it. Is that a good one?? Again I know nothing about vodkas.

I don't know much about vodka either Coater. I just know some taste more like rubbing alcohol than others. Tito's and Svedka are the two best I've found that aren't expensive as shite. And Svedka is ~15 bucks cheaper than Tito's per 1/2 gallon so that's what I go with. I haven't tried Ciroc that I remember...

So those who drink the higher end vodkas (ciroc, goose, belvedere), how do y'all drink it? Rocks? Martinis?

The reason I ask is because I usually mix with cranberry and can't tell the difference in ciroc or taaka.

I always get Smirnoff or absolute. No idea what either tastes like with tonic though.

Well hell, is there one out there that is just total shite, and I should never buy?

There are impurities in all vodkas. Some are distilled more times and filtered more times. And they are made of different ingredients. All that equals different tastes.

Ciroc is an absolutely outstanding spirit. Issue with it is that it's not really *technically* vodka. They just sell it as vodka because it's relatively close. It's distilled from grapes, so it has a floral aroma to it that's just awesome, but not truly vodka-like.

By law they are neutral spirits, without distinctive character, aroma, taste, or color. Differences from one to the next are essentially marketing.

They all have impurities. What about this don't you understand?

Haven't I said this already?
