I think he'll play safety like Vaccaro plays safety: sometimes it's covering the slot, sometimes he blitzes, sometimes he drops back deep.

I don't know whats so funny?
Is White being moved to safety because he's so much better than what we have there now?
Is he being moved from CB because he is so much better than the other CB's?
When a player is moved around to a new position there is usually a reason. But with the good depth at both safety and CB it seems they are trying to find him a home and that is a dangerous place to be in a NFL camp IMO.

Of course he hasn't. He's a physical freak, but he played college in a small school in Canada, and was used sparingly in his rookie year, which I think hindered his development.

I don't think they're moving him. He's still taking snaps at CB. They're just cross training him. Like I said, the versatility will help disguise coveragees.

where do you get this from?
He hasn't been moved to Safety. He's playing there in certain packages. It's not that hard to follow. He's not on the chopping block

Then I read the tweets wrong. Seemes as if they said he wasn't getting time at CB just safety.

I think Rob working White at safety is a precaution or a just in case Byrd can't go week 1 or Bush or Vaccaro have a freak injury and they have a back up plan in place

Every pre-draft scouting report on White said he'd make a better safety. Maybe the Saints want to finally maximize his potential.
