think electrifying was relative to expectations. In that game, JJ had 142 yds passing.

He had an 86 yard TD pass called back on BS. Watch the game again JJ did a lot. We got to the goaline and just let Scott run it in.

It's kinda funny that you think we'd throw under 2000 yards with Cam here considering our worst effort in forever was around 2020.

I'd set the O/U passing at 2400. Dural is really good. This guy was going to be the #3 WR his freshman year, but got injured in fall camp. Dupre is AJ Green like, Quinn is already close to as polished as they come for a college WR, Leslie is a deep threat playmaker waiting to happen. While we won't dominate in the passing game, we won't be throwing it around like titty babies either.

I'd venture to guess 200 yards passing a game.

Agreed. Look for lots of quick throws and a higher percentage of tosses to TE's and Backs over last year; at least until the young WR's get their feet wet.

And Lee had 90 something against Oregon.

All this passing love is stupid. You win championships running, stopping the run, and having an effective passing game when needed.

The put-in-Rivers talk was to give him game experience. I remember it well. My only gripe about Les is his refusal to let backup Qbs get non-running snaps when LSU is up late in games.

lol no. The put in Rivers was because Mett was throwing 30 40 and 50 % of his passes during a 5 game straight stretch. He was pretty much terrible for a huge chunk of his firat season. I mean put Rivers in was not just to get snaps.

whoever starts is better prepared than any first year starting QB we've had since Flynn.
