The rant almost always wants the perceived backup in the game. Mettenberger was the first time I think in a long time where people weren't questioning that.

I'd say there is a 1.3 % realistic chance of that happening tho

Probably the spring game. That's one of many times the team has practiced with Harris and Jennings, it's just the only one we've seen.

Not me Winston is terrible.

Based off a kid that should be in high school scoring 4 TDs while his competition threw two Pick 6s and had terrible pocket awareness.

Heeeeeeeell no. Rashard Greene and Nick O'Leary were well established before Winston took a snap, and Kenny Shaw was even moreso than them. Kelvin Benjamin was no slouch either.
This is nowhere near the same thing to our situation. I do expect an offensive explosion next year when we should bring back all our receivers and TEs except for Leslie, Stokes, and Dickson.

There was deffinitly some "put in rivers" threads with Mett as starter

I don't remember Rivers. There were definitely some "Put in Jennings. He can run! Mett is too immobile!!!!" Threads.

Yup, that'd be pretty cool.
Peyton Manning didn't start game one of his freshman year.

There were a few (not naming names) who wanted to see Jennings . There were in game threads for several weeks pushing for Jennings to play and Mett to sit for a while.

Your dad called. There's still some ironing left to do before bedtime.

It's the norm for a fan base to want the backup when there is not a secure starter. This is somewhat different for me at least. I really do not mind Jennings starting, but I would prefer to just let the more talented guy get reps with the young team now. I do know this can backfire, but I believe in Harris and the head on his shoulders.
If Jennings was here more than a year, it probably wouldn't even be this close.
I believe we are basing it off of the most recent showings from both quarterbacks and the future ahead. Again though, I support JENNINGSWINNING if he is in deed the guy. I just see so much more upside in Harris throwing and escaping the sacks. (Something I really want in a college qb)

What if we use our experienced and super talented OLine along with highly touted great young depth and upgrade at the position coach to just pound the rock on frickers.
Hear me out.....
Wisconsin lost the whole front 7.
Auburn got pounded last year.
Florida lost some key DL and LBs.
So did Bama.
Texas A&M always gets pounded.
That leaves Ole Miss as the only team to worry about and we have them at home.
Let's pound the fricking rock, hammer and nail style.
