I have been cleaning out my closet at my parents house and found a baseball that I got at a baseball fan day when I was little. Somehow over the years all of the signatures faded off except for Wally's.

RIP Wally

RIP Wally. A season doesn't pass that we don't think about and honor Wally and I hope we are doing it 40 years from now.

Was 12 on vacation in Chicago. Saw it on a sports page in the Tribune, didn't really connect then but a few of my cousins who went to LSU were really upset. RIP WP31

He was more than just a baseball player- he was a really great kid.

I remember where I was when I heard the news that he passed away. Wally was a special young man- and its sad we only had him here for such a short time.
