Well you should, because the same thing was basically said by Bobby Hebert.
The coaching staff did not have a contingency plan. Not in preparation and not on gameday. Ultimately, that blame falls on Miles and he got his butt whipped that day and I am sure Miles will tell you that.
The difference is that men with class do not throw their teammates and coaches under the bus. They accept responsibility and focus on what they could have done to be better and produce a better outcome.
Win or lose, the only thing Blackwell could have controlled was his preparation, attitude, effort and performance...all of which sucked horribly. That cannot be blamed on anyone but Will Blackwell and until he realizes that and stops blaming results on other people, he will never be able to use that game for improvement in his own life.
People get beat, people lose, people make mistakes and have poor judgement at times. But, the people who accept responsibility and use those mistakes & downfalls to become a better person in spite of a loss or poor performance are the ones who are truly champions.
I would like to think that the spirit that embodies a Les Miles, his LSU football team and the University as a whole is one of a champion. A spirit that is not afraid to try and fail, but knows it, accepts it and prepares for it. A spirit that doesn't focus on things beyond their control when they do fail. Do not be a results based thinker.

The dude fricked up and apologized. IMO, other than the KK stuff, he wasn't wrong and Les has since fixed it. Social media can blow up in your face sometimes. I believe Les puts us in the NC mix this year. As he said, "I like us!".

Of course he has the "right". No one has proposed arresting him. However, exercising that "right" triggers consequences. Criticism and disagreement are some of those.

I'm not saying it's right, but it is exactly why Bobby was so pissed and why guys like Blackwell are so bitter now. If anything, it shows the true character of guys like T-Bob, Lee, Randle, Lonergan, Copeland, Williford, Dworaczyk, Hurst, etc who haven't had an outburst like this because you have to know it eats them up inside just the same.

T-bob didnt play one snap. of course he was upset, but it's over now. he and Lee have had plenty of opportunity to bash Les and the program but they havent, and probably are the only ones with a legit gripe since neither played a down in that game yet played all season long.

What a coward.He talks shite all day ripping Les Mikes and hurting LSU then follows up with a pussy arse apology it make him look even worse. I would like to see what he has to say when he walks past Les again someday. ( probably nothing since he is a big pussy)
