you still never answered my question on sec championships. Thus the reference to the guy you mentioned.

the poster said that the fight was the highlight of archer's time here and I'm pointing out that not every year was bad in archer's time. the 1st two years were actually very good. seems like you are the negative one. I have said nothing negative. you people assume too much and look foolish.

we look foolish. So LSU cans a coach on the downslide and you feed us a comparison that while true sugguest that they are equal and post it . I havent seen miles have any really horrible seasons yet.I would say you are the fool, but then again next thing you know you'll find a stat that hallman compares to miles. Wait your not that good .

Seriously...you are comparing Les to Archer? JHC...I went to LSU from 88-99...the beginning of the Dark Ages...I have respect for the good thing way have going. If you're not satisfied...by all means...hire Archer to coach your flag football team.

Oh and if that happened today the UN would be called in to settle down the crazy thug actions and to condemn the actions

mamoutiga... Dead on. Each player in the fight would be replayed (featured) on SportsCenter for three weeks. They would have the players go to re-education camp, er, uh, "sensitivity training" courses, counselors would be available to all the students who had to witness the show of violence, and they would set up "no meanness" zones on campuses across the country...

As a guy who was born a couple years after this I never knew this happened till today. Don't really have any comments or questions just wondering what the ranters that remember this think about it and that year in football

i was 14, i remember the game was on tv and that we got our asses kicked on the scoreboard but not in that fight.

Lol. Then say, Archers highlight was being co champions with 4 losses. Not that he was 1 less sec championship than Miles. Then go on rambling how its easier to win and to look at losses instead. You sir are the foolish one.

It is a lot easier to get 10 wins now than it was in the 80s. I don't know why you are trying to debate this.

For Miles, those would be average years.

The SEC is tougher as a whole now than it was then.
And I like how you conveniently leave out Miles' national championship from your "facts".

I was there. I remember it was hard to watch the fight because other fights kept popping up all over the place.

I felt like we won the fight.

facts are facts. I didn't conveniently leave out anything. you are trying too hard to be offended.

and one loss sec seasons are not average years for les miles. the teams from archer's 1st two season's were very good.

That was back when college football let anything go. FSU late hits and cheap shots entire game and refs didn't call anything at Doak with Bowden on the sideline. LSU was just a bad team but at least the players manned up and that was a bad hit late in the game.
