The problem is that the system in place puts them on a bus to various parts of the country to be fed and housed at our expense. Why would we want to throw any addition money at that shitshow?

So your solution is to have the national guard stop them in their tracks at the border? Do you realize how long that border is and how many troops it would take to patrol it the way you envision? Not going to happen and we'll still have the same number of people who make it across and are entitled to a judicial hearing before being deported.

and according to the agents who are still speaking to the press under fear of losing their jobs, we have the technology to spot them coming across, but they are being told to look the other way. Who do you think is telling them that and why? If you think anyone who squeaks over the border is entitled to a "judicial hearing" then you're a moron.

the national guard on the boarder may be a solution,,

nobody says it has to be the one and only solution.

Part of the job is to make the Mexican govt actually start doing their part,, close the borders to trade/tourist traffic and watch how fast they start caring!

The reason I posted the links in the OP is there is real data/information, from sources other than our own NSA, that hizbollah is working with mexican drug cartels to move traffic across the border, both drugs and humans. If they have AK-47s and sniper rifles it might take more than a few guys in trucks w/ sidearms to stop them.
