So if Fournette gets 25 carries, Guice and Brossette 10 each and Williams 5 carries. That's 50 carries. So what about Dupree and the receivers?

We won't be throwing the ball much early this season..especially with who we are playing.

We might pass the ball 13 times against Wisconsin

Your assumption of Fournette getting 25 carries every game is faulty. The question is invalid.

Fournette, Guice and Nick are all different RBs. They compliment each other in different ways. LSU runs a system where it's RB by committee and they consistently mix up who's in the game. It's what throws defenses off and when defenses are on their heels constantly it sure does make the RB look a lot better when he's trucking/juking a tired defense.

Of all the concerns in offense being a RB that's not #1 should be the least of them. Miles philosophy has always been power football using RBs by committee and if capable with a QB, a more balanced attack. You could argue Miles uses a system where it's 3 #1 RBs. Even with the most talented RB LSU had in the past 10 years with Hill Miles still gave his fair share of carries to the other RBs.

Fournette didn't choose LSU over Alabama on the premise that he wasn't gonna get his touches. If you guys believe that you are crazy! 20-25 touches a game. Book it!!!

20 touches is much different than 25 carries.

And we're still going to ride the hot hand, regardless of what name is on the back of the jersey.

Florida fans a tad bit obsessive huh? Go back to your hole. You aren't allowed to pop your head out until you have a winning season

I value his info, but not his opinion on the Fournette situation.

LSU will run a committee offense at RB. Fournette, Williams, Brossette and Guice will all get theirs.

We lose hilliard and magee next season.

Fournette, Darrel, Guice, and Brossette is a VERY solid core...not to mention Ducre will probably be an interesting fullback tweener.

All of these guys should get some touches with fournette being the main guy next year.

LSU is one of very few schools that can pitch a dual RB system and do it effectively.

NB will have plenty opportunity to shine, LF or not.

Michael Ford 127 caries / 756 yards / 7 TDs
Spencer Ware 177 carries / 707 yards / 8 TDs
Alfred Blue 78 carries / 539 yards / 7 TDs
Kenny Hilliard 62 carries /336 yards / 8 TDs

Blue and Hilliard were TRUE FRESHMEN.

I don't agree with some of what you're saying but you do have a point. Nic needs to do what's best for him. Looking at the depth chart, if I were him, I'd be a little intimidated and question whether or not I could get to where I want to be 3-4 years from now. It may not be at LSU and it would be completely understandable.

LSU is a great opportunity for any RB....I agree! But 4 deep there's no way. Sorry guys. If you are being real and not a fan there's no way you see that happening all 4 get their due.
