Is that really anything new?

The health care providers themselves can't even understand my health insurance plan - even though they have people who are paid for that very purpose.
This has been true before and after RomneyCare. They are always double billing me - asking for co-pays then taking the same from my HRA. Then I have to make them cough up the difference. Its a pain in the butt.

When we went to our "insurance counselling" meeting before having our son - they couldn't even tell us for sure how much it would cost us out of pocket with no complications, and forgot to mention that the patient co-pay applies to the number of patients leaving the hospital (2) - not the number entering (1). The meeting was really more to assure them we had insurance than to provide us any useful information at all.

Sorry, this is not an Obamacare problem. This is a general health insurance problem.

This this this. Especially for marginally healthy people (like myself) who don't ever go to the hospital. I get the same huge packet from BCBS every year, sometimes twice a year if there is a benefits change explaining coverage, deductibles, etc.

You think I read all that crap? I've resigned myself to increases in coverage, and less coverage, as has been the 15-year trend(the amount of years I have been employed with the same company)!

Implementing republican ideas on healthcare has been, yes, a royal mess, but said republicans are not helping

Um you should. It really isn't that complicated. But this is just the typical generational laziness in this country. If you have worked to generate and sustain any level of wealth, then insurance should be extremely important to you. And reading and understanding your policy (or "all that crap") should be a pretty high priority.
