In college, I had a group of good friends that I actually have known since I was 4. We randomly happened to all 4 get super close once we got to college even though we went to the same elementary and high school.

I knew some girls that I went to school with from kindergarten through high school that never really hung out that all of a sudden became bff's in college.

We had like 48 or so in our graduating class so there wasn't a lot of diversity, but we still had our small groups. I saw them a couple years after high school and was like huh, y'all are friends now? I found it kind of odd.

I have a close group of friends I have known since 3rd grade. We were really close through junior high and high school. Still all get together 3-4 time a year. I have friends from college and work and things I've done in my adult life. All good friends, just in different ways.

College easily. Best part is they live all over the country so reconnecting is always an adventure.

No need. I don't feel bad about it.

Sometimes I get sad when I don't feel like hanging out alone, but that's not for lack of friends.. more lack of people with empty schedules like me. My friends are either married, in serious relationships, or work when I'm off.

I met a group of ladies at Lauberge, and they're great, but I never put the effort into developing a best friend type relationship with them because I guess I am happy with my best friend as is.

Also, with my SO being around limited amounts of time, I don't waste time hanging with friends when he's in town.

College, you'll typically end up progressing through life on the same time table as well. Marriage, kids, etc- to that way it's easier to maintain the friendship
