Name the tool songs that aren't strictly instrumentals that have 5m of instrumentals between Maynard's vocals.
There may be a few, but off of the top of my head, I can't think of any.
Some of their longest tracks that are actual songs are:
3rd eye
Lateralus
Push It
And none of those 3 have 5m without Maynard.

i'd agree with that 100%
rush is a far more of a progressive rock band than pink floyd is though. (and I don't really care for rush)

Tool has more in common with Rush than any other band from that era. Of course the greatest bass player in Baton Rouge would disagree but he is mostly blinded by stupidity.
