Does the anti-Semite label still carry any weight at all today? Seems like the pro-Semite label is the one to avoid these days.

The GOP needs to distance itself from AIPAC and the demands of the Israel-Firsters as much as possible regarding foreign policy.

AIPAC is a well greased political lobby machine which plays a a major role in regard to our foreign policy in the ME. Netanyahu realized this more than ever when he got several standing ovations from both parties when addressing Congress.

shite must be different in Israel. Guess there have to be charges with every arrest. Or maybe that's a bullshite biased joke of an article written by an ignorant a-hole hack.

Max Blumenthal appears to be quite knowledgeable and gives another perspective regarding Israeli politics IMO. I've watched several of his interviews. But that's just my opinion man...

Anyway, I definitely see more than one side to the situation or at least I try to. And the whole mess in the ME appears to me to be exponentially FUBAR.

With all respect, what is it that qualifies him as an ignorant a-hole hack in your opinion? Because, I could be wrong.

I was pretty perplexed when I immediately got bombarded with down votes for what I thought was a pretty self evident and uncontroversial thing to point out.

I never notice that this board has "up" and "down" votes until someone mentions it in a thread. I guess my feeling is that if you're worried about winning a popularity contest here, you have some serious issues.

Did not read.

And you Israeli hating azz0s are at it again.

Jihadist are bombing and murdering people all over the world from Nigeria to the Philippines, and your one track mind, an Israeli hater, can only cherry pick, but never shine a light on the real terrrorist

Of course that. Wouldn't surprise anyone, the same side that loves 55 million baby murders, that continually lie about a war in women, when the war is on the babies

The same idiotic party that is socialist, marxist and anti-American.

Not surprised at all.

I would. The fact that you are on this board means you are smarter than the average American. The "average" American is not a genius by any stretch of the imagination and the polarized voting blocks of low income areas is ripe with people who can't spell half the words they say.

thank you trackfan for again exposing the barbarity of the Israeli military dictatorship which supports Jewish fascism and racism. What irony that Jews have become so cruel and sadistic. Anyone read *Animal Farm* in school?

why was the entire family arrested? (except for mom?) You think having their son murdered wasn't enough? Look at the Jews and what they have become.

Absolutely not. But here is what should concern all of us. Hamas, in the face of impossible odds, continues to wage war against Israel. Their effectiveness is nil. But they continue to lob missiles and mortars towards enemy.

It seems to be totally illogical what they are doing, except that they are demonstrating to others in Gaza and the West Bank that they are willing to sacrifice their lives knowing full well that they are no threat to Israel. The hatred on both sides continues to grow. Moderates on both sides are in the background.

I now fear that the odds that Hamas, Hezbollah, or other Jihadist groups WILL use a nuclear weapon on Israel given the chance. And of course Israel would counter attack if it isn't disabled.

Israel is stuck with only bad choices - they can either continue with apartheid which will only result in future similar conflicts or they can annex the West Bank & Gaza and give the Palestinians full rights and citizenship. No guarantee that the latter would result in peace and it is no doubt a risky deal. I think the 2 state solution is now dead.

The Zionist dream of an Israel which encompasses all of the West Bank & Gaza will not come to fruition with paying a price. The zealots on the other side are beyond thinking rationally - decades of 2nd class status with limited freedoms has resulted in a environment of hatred that is passed from one generation to another.

This one was really depressing. They were murdered because their dad was a top police officer. So 18 members of the same family perish and there again was NO firing from the area.. another symbolic display of power to terrorize the civilian population from the Israeli terrorist state

3 boys survived but don't have any tears left, their lives are over too.

welcome to your new homes you subhumans! Thanks to the zionists and America! Ever wonder why they hate us? It's because they are not human!

3 Boys from the al Batsh family remain after their whole family wiped out in Gaza
this is the list of the family members that have passed away.
1. Anas Alla'a al-Batsh, 10
2. Qusai Isam al-Batsh, 12
3. Manar Majed al-Batsh, 13
4. Muhammad Isam al-Batsh, 17
5. Ibrahim Majed al-Batsh18
6. Yahyia Ala'a al-Batsh, 18
7. Khaled Majed al-Batsh, 20
8. Zakaria Ala'a al-Batsh, 20
9. Mahmoud Majed al-Batsh, 22
10. Marwa Majed al-Batsh, 25
11. Jalal Majed al-Batsh, 26
12. Ahmed Neman al-Batsh, 27
13. Baha'a Majed al-Batsh, 28
14. Nahed Naim al-Batsh, 41
15. Amal Hassan al-Batsh, 49
16. Aziza Yousef al-Batsh, 59
17. Majed Subhi al-Batsh
18. Qusai Ala'a al-Batsh

LINK

The airstrikes turned al-Batsh’s family home into a massive heap of rubble, which neighborhood residents as well as journalists gather around and exchange detailed accounts of the unspeakable atrocity. Two adjacent houses which belonged to Majid’s brothers were also severely damaged in the assault, which witnesses say shook the whole neighborhood.

“All of my family has gone,” Om Mohammed, who is still in the hospital, told Al-Akhbar. “They killed my two sons, my two brothers-in-law, their sons, my cousins, everyone. All my beloved ones have gone.”

The Israeli airstrike was allegedly targeting 48-year-old Tayseer al-Batsh, the Gaza police chief, while he was on a visit to his cousin’s house. He survived the attack (while sustaining injuries), but his cousins and their families did not.

According to al-Mezan Center for Human Rights, a Gaza-based human rights organization, of the 17 killed, six of them were children, and three were women, including one pregnant woman. Sixteen others were injured, including three children and three women. Four of the injuries were described by medical sources as “critical.”

===

the darling Israeli regime did not even kill the police commander at home but at someone else's home, a completely innocent family (his own family are also innocent as is he). Wow, another war crime by the fascist racist murderous regime.

Israeli Police Take Revenge On Family Of American Teen They Beat Up
A bit presumptuous?

Tariq Abu Khdeir, the kid they beat up, had reason to be enraged. His cousin had been horribly murdered by three pieces of detritus who happened to be Jews. (They were enraged in turn because presumable Hamas murdered three Jewish teens.) So had Tariq done something stupid in response and based on teenage emotion, one could understand, even sympathize.

However, Tariq claims he had no role in subsequent protests related to his cousin's funeral. Claims he was innocent as the driven snow. The problem is that in the extremely brief snippet of video showing nothing whatsoever of activity leading up to the police action, Tariq is wearing a black hood/mask. Why would that be?

Don't you find that an odd juxtaposition in the innocent-teen narrative?

There are plenty of lies to go around in this story.

NC_Tigah, you pose some good questions. However, what type of protest could this kid have been involved in that would warrant the cops beating him senseless after they clearly had him subdued and he was putting up no resistance? Also, what do you make of the fact that after the three Israeli settler kids were murdered, the IDF demolished the homes of several Palestinian families based purely on the suspicion that they might be related to the murderers, but they haven't demolished the homes of any of the Israeli kids who have been arrested for murdering Tariq's cousin, despite the fact that three of them have already confessed to immolating him alive?

EDIT: I always try to compare the Israeli/Palestinian conflict to race turmoil in this country to put things in perspective, and IMO, it would have been unconscionable and immoral to demolish the homes of the families of James Byrd's murderers, Chaney, Goodman and Schwerner's murderers, Byron de la Beckwith, the James Earl Ray or Sam Bowers. Collective punishment has no place in democratic societies no matter heinous the crime.
