re: Which musicians fan base do you despise the most?

I used to get annoyed w/ Dead heads mostly because they drove so slow I had to pass them.

Otherwise feel this whole thread is just looking for an excuse to get pissed off about someone.

Why do you hate DMB fans?

I'm just curious... I have been to many DMB shows, but I would like to hear your reason.

I don't give a flying frick if people don't like Phish. The anti-Phish people are the ones usually up in arms (see: your post) about it.

As a Phish fan I am extremely secure about them. I could probably rip on them a lot harder than any non-fans can, and often do. I know they're good. I've put in the time and effort to listen to extensive amounts of their live catalog to know this. They have had moments of playing objectively good music, even if you don't like noodle jamband shite.

The whole Phish related discussion on here is only because they're a popular band that tours often, and every show they play is different. That's why they're a subject of discussion, and that's what separates them from the generic country,rap,rock artists other Chads on here talk about. Most other bands don't have an hour or so of original music every show to discuss, they just have the same song played the same way. There's nothing to talk about.

That's why people like jam music, and why Chads on here that rip on them, even though they don't know shite about them. And that's why real fans don't give a frick and laugh off the anti-Phish stuff, because most of you don't know what you're talking about.

I like their studio stuff. The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots are great albums.

Flaming Lips live blows- pretty much because of Wayne "Godcomplex" Cohen. It is fun to see maybe once as a teenager and that is it.

Wayne is having possibly the worst midlife crisis in the history of mankind. Good lord. It's epic.
