Citeh´s going to be very, very potent this season in CL (and will probably win the prem).

I think Jovetic will play up front for the first week or two, but after they get Aguero up to full speed he'll be on the wing more.
You can pick him up, but be ready to transfer him after a couple of weeks.

What can y'all tell me about Jason Denayer?

City Interview

Played at the same academy in Belgium that the Toure brothers moved to and wants to be like Kompany

I was surprised he didn't get more time during the four games in the US. Maybe the loan deal was already worked out and they didn't want to risk getting him hurt.

How much is Jovetic expected to play to start the season?
I think you'll see Jovetic play a decent amount of PL league games with Aguero saved for the CL matches. Considering the game time they're going to want to give Silva/Nasri/Milner/Navas, I doubt he'll play on the wing much unless someone gets injured. I'd expect him to play up top a lot partnered with Negredo.

That said he may end up playing in more cup matches than PL matches though.

I think he should be at least the first attacking player off the bench. If Dzeko is ineffective for the first 60-70 minutes, bring on Jovetic against a (hopefully) tired defense. I'm expecting big things from Jovetic as he has a lot of same qualities that make Aguero so frustrating to defenses.

I hope so. Injuries bit us at the worst possible time last year. I think we'll be in the thick of it for the CL but I don't think we win the BPL again. Top 3.

To support City in the olden days was “to believe that God might have trouble running things on this planet”, wrote Paul Morley in 1998. “It is to accept with heroic willingness the dreadful flat fact that the universe is cold and hostile and that nothing good will come of it. To tackle head on the crushing pointlessness of existence and to attempt to make something of it. Why do it? Because somehow it seems more dignified and fulfilling than taking the easy way out and supporting Manchester United....”

i can't imagine what it would be like to be have been a city fan for the last 40 years.

No doubt. Silva and Kun make me happy. We've got Mangala to pair with VK. Solid backup/new GK.

Nothing HUGE, but some solid moves.

plus, adding the invaluable experience of sagna and fat frank.

also, we've done well with finding loan moves for some of the youngsters.

Denayer's goal on his Celtic debut (and all the other ones from the match).

Got stadium MOTM, but he didn't deserve it. Probably the third worst player today, IMO, but it was his debut...

I'm very happy with our moves. Chelsea, United, and Arsenal got all the press, but we quietly strengthened our squad with Mangala, Fernando, and Cabs.

More importantly, we keep our core players together on long term contracts.
