They are catch and shoot 3's. You don't need a liberal license to shoot open 3's in the NBA, if you're a good 3 point shooter, especially if that's his role on the team.
last game he came running hard off a pick ala Ray Allen and hit a 3 from the wing. Everything looked good to me considering how fast he was going. Rose up and squared up well and shot looked good, and went in.
I wasn't being critical of him. In fact, I was saying that he can be more efficient in the role we would want him to fill. He is just pulling up and shooting at times because it is summer league. He won't take as many challenged shots in the NBA, and he will knock down open looks created by others.

gotcha, i agree.
if he can play some defense and hit open 3's like he is right now, no reason he shouldn't get an opportunity.

It took me a little while but on NBA TV on the bottom line for our game they put Fells stats for some guy named "Chamberlain" and Russ Smith stats they had for Luke Babbitt
