#1 Gordon is still a solid player. Don't confuse his bad contract and him as a bad player. He can easily be the guy spotting up shooting the three.

#2 Hopefuly Evans has been working hard to improve his perimeter shooting anyways as this is the weakness in his game.

A 3&D SF would do so much more good for us

I agree but honestly, how many of those are in the league & readily available (Not LeBron, George, Kawhi, etc.)?

Gordon's averages aren't crazily different than when everyone thought he was awesome. Also his averages would be better if he wasn't screwed by the refs going to rim last season.

I don't think he is a superstar, and I think he is slightly overpaid; however, he is still a solid starter. He is more than capable of shooting spot up threes and taking it to the basket when needed. He also is capable of being a solid defender.

People are blinded by hate.

How is he going to guard Durant, George and other 6'9"+ SFs

I know what you're saying and it's a valid concern, but really how many guys on any team are going to be able to guard Durant, George, LBJ, etc?

Agreed, Colonel. He's more than slightly overpaid but I'm excited to see him this year. He looks skinnier and hopefully gets some explosive back. Also agree with the lack of calls he seems to get in the lane.

The hate is comical at this point. Overpaid, yes. a-hole? No one really knows but I see him just being a really introverted guy.

I know. I was joking.

Still don't think it would be a disaster if Tyreke played alot at the "3"

Durant, James, Anthony, George, and Leonard are the only SFs with a higher PER last season. He also played ~55% of minutes at SF.

I don't see why they don't try. Evans seemed much happier with that feeling of being a starter.

Our issue last year was that those top tier small forwards would abuse Reke.

What we have now with AD/Asik in the post is that they will defend the rim/contest shots better than AD alone last year.

I think it'll work if we ran:
Holiday-Gordon-Reke-AD-Asik for 15-20mpg. Even end game scenarios if needed be.

Reke is an underrated ball handler, Holiday and Gordon can hit spot up 3s as well.
