Solid list, I really like the love for FF9, one of the better ones in my opinion. I'm curious though, why no chrono trigger or FFVI?

Some weird inclusions in that history of RPGs...
I haven't beaten either of them. Chrono Trigger because of lack of time and FF6 because I lost interest in it. I plan on completing both again soon, but it's just been some time (at least 10 yeas) since I last time tried.

I never played it as a kid, so I decided to play it recently. I didn't have nostalgia goggles on and it was one of the greatest video game experiences ever. I highly recommend it.

I liked Crisis Core better in every possible way. Not sure much else to say.

I typically don't enjoy 2D platformers, so I usually steer clear. It is something that I want to play though.
