Halo 2 was my favorite game. Played hundreds of hours online with friends. Loved that game like it were a person. Looking back, probably a few thousand. 
Just looked it up:

Well you can tell who has and has not played WOW just by reading this thread. Over 10 million people were paying $15 a month fot years to play the game for a reason.
No other game listed has made the noney or had the lasting power or ability to evolve like WOW.

I played WoW and it can't touch Everquest IMO. WoW is where MMO's became easy mode that appealed to the masses. WoW was/is fun but if I could get the community that was in Everquest 99-2005 I would go back in a heart beat. Everquest launch the MMO into the public conscious (not always in a good way)

First off, no.
Secondly, this thread is never objective at all and becomes "what's your favorite game". I love Metroid Prime, probably my favorite game on the GC, but I would never call it the greatest.
I'd go with either Half Life 2 or Legend of Zelda. And before anyone says I just contradicted myself, I don't think I ever finished the first Zelda and I really have no desire to, but I remember what an impact it had in the gaming world when it was released. Everyone was taking about it.

No not Sims... it's an online game... like a community game where you can take on an actual career and interact with other gamers... like the most popular game on the internet??? I can't think of what it is called.
