Also, I really have to laugh at y'all starting a guy at CB who has a 60 rating on FIFA in Blackett.

I'm sure Paddy is rated worse and he did fine in his debut.

Damn. Big loss.

You could obviously use Valencia as a direct replacement, or you could push Blind to the left, use Fletcher in the middle, and have Di Maria move to the right. Rooney can go wide right too.

What's the recovery time on a broken rib? 3-4 weeks?

That was my worst fear. He has been the engine in our midfield over the last few weeks. We lose a lot with him out.

Didn't get home from covering the AU-LSU game until around 2 this morning, so I DVRed the match and am just now going through it now.

But, as I can tell from Twitter...

- Di Maria is still that dude
- De Gea is also that dude
- The young'uns helped us hang on
- TOP FOUR SUCKAS

Fixed in honor of Danny Welbeck. I was just reading an article comparing Welbeck to Balotelli, and I can't help but laugh at all of the idiots who told the few of us who said we'd take Welbeck over Balotelli how stupid we were.

You mean those Liverpool fans

all logic and reason is out the window with them when it comes to their players.

I honestly think you may have more posts on this board about Liverpool than you do about United.

Just a casual observation. I peruse every thread, no matter the title.

I'm happy for him. He's a lot better than people think and he should get more than 3rd option for Spain.

anyway

LvG is already on his alpha male act

But the United manager sounded an ominous note when he said: "I've already told my players we aren't playing good and we've already hit the top four, so what will happen when we're playing well?

We seem to be improving week-to-week. Our emphasis on possessing the ball has taken some of the heat off of our back four. The new signings all seem to be up for it. Most surprisingly for me, Blind has been a total boss, breaking up play and controlling the game from the deep-lying role. He seems to be what we've been missing there and is getting better every week.

LvG has played 30 different players in 8 competitive games, giving many their debuts. I am optimistic that we will continue to improve once we have all our players healthy and available.
