reading we may try and hijack QPRs deal for Reading's Alex McCarthy (24)...

I know BR is a huge fan and this would be better than an older, average, Sergio Romero..

Just watched some highlights. Some of his saves
I could get on board with that.

I have a hard time believing that Balo will buy into anything anyone has to say... except for himself when he's talking into the mirror.

I really hope Balotelli begins to get himself together because I really like him and am rooting for him to realize his potential.
However, Gerrard's words of encouragement are along the lines of what's been reported from Kaka, Seedorf about AC Milan and Buffon, De Rossi about the NT and it seemingly hasn't sunk it yet after the emotional entrance wears off.

Looks like Moreno is fit for Sunday, which is great news! Johnson likely to miss it.

Don't forget Drake.

This may be terribly wrong, but I see Balotelli getting it together. His ego won't allow him to be "demoted" to less prestigious club play this early. He may still throw darts at kids, but I think he has a good season.

Sad to see Agger leave... He's been a very good, loyal player for LFC..

I'm glad we're letting him go on a cut rate deal to his boyhood club, Brondby...

He stated his body can no longer hold up to the demands of the EPL...

YNWA!

Well Moreno and Manquillo are very young..

But Ryan McLaughlin (RB) and Brad Smith (LB) are the two younger guys with the biggest upside. Lloyd Jones would be the most promising young CB.

And of course, there is still Wisdom

Thanks for the info on those lads - I'll have to have them replace Robinson and Kelly in my mind as future players - hope they develop a bit more (or don't get injured).

Agree 100%. His loyalty should be rewarded with him getting to choose his destination.

As for Balo - I think we'll get his best effort for at least a few months. From there it depends upon where his craziness goes. I think Rodgers will be better able to reign him in than most of his past manager.

One thing about Balo that concerns me - Suarez also had a ton of assists - Balo does not get assists. He had 1 in the EPL (an important one, but still just one). He did have 6 last season so he may have improved a bit. Daily Mail also says he had the lowest shot conversion rate in Europe last season....

That was a huge assist though

He's quite capable, because his link up play is fairly good.. Honestly, I would have though those numbers would have been reversed, because he played with a lot of garbage last season... He takes a lot of shots from outside the 18.. Hopefully, he sees the quality of players with him in attack and buys into the team mentality... Like Stevie told him, it's all there for him to take his place along side of the other legendary LFC strikers..

Agreed. It was time for him to move on, but I still love the man and I know he still loves the club

One of my favorites for awhile. Would have done anything for the club he loved. Sad to see him go.

And I just saw that Skrtel is out 2-3 weeks, so that Lovren/Sakho partnership will get started I would imagine

Then we should get the back line we have been anticipating. Moreno, Sakho, Lovren, Manquillo.

Clearly trying to not start the same back four a second time at any point this season
