re: Pumped for Football

Mark Twain is quoted as saying "It is better to remain silent and thought a fool then to open your mouth an remove all doubt"

A sentiment rarely followed on the Rant. For that reason I honestly say that this may be one of the best first posts I have ever read.



An I am also pumped for football, hurry and get here already!

when there are 111773 members means that the odds of a first post being spectacular are effectively zero. and you must admit that the amount of idiocy they have in posts on this site doesn't exactly encourage optimistic expectations. But perhaps I am just a jaded old man.

Camp opens in less than a month..

Can't wait to see what our loaded freshman class can do. College football has changed quite a bit lately in regards to impact of younger players. Johnny Football and others like Jameis Winston have shown young talent can make an immediate impact, especially at the skill positions which is where most of LSU's youthful talent is concentrated.

Buga is probably the only sure bet to make waves right from the get go but our QB's, Dupre, and Quinn have a shot at shining early as well imo.

This thread on the Help Board about the broken emoticons really helped me out. Lots of good ones there.
